One of my favorite things is the kind of euphemistic profanity that people use when they're in public. Working in the library, I have trained myself to say, "Golly!" quite a bit, as well as my all-purpose sci-fi cursewords (thank you, Farscape!), and I've inherited a tendency to hiss "God bless it!" through my teeth at recalcitrant technology or shelving units. I love listening to the things other people say when they obviously want to be cursing but feel like they can't.

Today's favorite: "God bless America!" spoken in obvious frustration to a library computer.

What is your favorite piece of euphemistic profanity?

I admit, I usually default to "frak," but I also say "oh dear" quite a lot.

There is something very satisfying about "frak" - it's the 'k', I think - but I tend to default to "frell" if only because "oh, frak me!" just doesn't sound right.

I picked up "son of a motherless goat" from sweetnlow and use it at work frequently.

One of my coworkers has trained herself to use "oh fudgecicles".

My mom used to say "Ssssugar jets" (until us kids got old enough to cuss too, and now she's a potty mouth like us :P) It still takes me by surprise if i hear someone else say it out in the world.
Before cussing-age my brother and i came up with "Furble gerbils" (which i enjoy coz it rhymes)

..these days "Son of a biscuit eater!" or the aforementioned "Son of a motherless goat!" or "Bastids!".. is calling someone a "douchenozzle" cussing or non-cussing? i'm not sure.."asshat" prolly counts as cussing.
