Jun. 30th, 2011 08:49 pmHaving a horror-craving day all 'round, really, so tonight I am watching Ghostwatch.
Have you seen this? It's a mockumentary where BBC reporters perform an investigation, on air, of a haunted house. Apparently, it's the BBC tv version of Orson Welles' War of the Worlds broadcast, in that a lot of people came in halfway through and thought (because of the presence of real reporters and the documentary filming style) that it was an actual live investigation of an actual haunted house. (Considering the ending, I can definitely see being freaked out about that possibility.)
I don't have that extra little fillip of scary, of course, but it's a lovely haunted house story nonetheless. You can't buy it in the states but the whole thing's up on google video (that's how I'm watching it) and it's only 90 minutes. Well worth checking out - I highly recommend it.
