Mar. 18th, 2011 10:12 pmA-plot: more interesting than last week, but I still didn't particularly care. I did think that maybe they could have put William Bell in the immortal lady, but that didn't work out.
Other things: oh man, how awesome is Anna Torv? With the eyebrows and the posture and the facial expressions? So frelling awesome.. And yes, I totally want real Olivia back but I love watching Walter and William together - they are adorable. (William hitting creepily on Astrid = less adorable.) And Olivia in the labcoat and black turtleneck? Very nice.
Peter, I gotta tell you, I would not take tea from William Bell at this point. I can't see that leading to anything good.
Can we keep nerdy-specs!Lincoln Lee? I liked him, especially his "I know this sounds crazy" and everyone else going, "Yes, well, welcome to a pretty standard day for us." But then, I'm pretty sure that I approve of all Lincoln Lees, so, yeah. I would like him to stick around.
Re: trailers for next week. Y'know, despite my early reservations, I was still holding out hope that I was going to get a whole sci-fi show without some sort of pregnancy horror happening to the main character (or, in this case, her alternate universe counterpart). We did pregnancy horror, guys, we did that in the second episode of the show and it sucked. Why are we doing it again? Why are we doing it to Olivia? I do not approve.
Not like I'm not going to watch it because it's Fringe, maybe they can salvage something, but man, I am disappointed that we had to go down this road.
