Feb. 1st, 2011 01:54 pmI signed up for an "Unusual Food" swap on swap-bot the other day, so yesterday I went to the grocery store and bought ten dollars worth of candy and snacks that I have always wanted to try but never gotten around to. And so now I am jealous of my swap partner and kinda thinking of eating the food I bought for her. She's going to get squid in the mail! How cool is that? I hope my partner sends me something as cool as squid.
Anyway. The grocery stores also had lots of tea on sale, so I got a box of genmai cha (which I did not know they sold) for a dollar. And I have been drinking it pretty much constantly ever since. I'm not much of a green tea person, as a rule, but I love genmai cha. The roasted brown rice makes all the difference, really.
I am terribly glad to find that I can get it at my grocery store. I am only sad that the bottle I brought to work today is almost empty.
