Apparently, you know an entirely different meaning for the word "tupping" than I do.

Huh.

Oooh, which? I thought tupping meant "having sex"?

Me too. (In fact, I tend to associate it most with animal sex, but that's because I learned the word from Othello, with "the black ram is tupping your white ewe.")

Mr King has: "I murdered my wife...and hid her body by tupping it down an old well." Which is a bit odd, if your brain at first interprets that as "hid her body by fucking it down an old well."

I occurs to me now that this could be a typo or printer's error and maybe it's meant to be "tipping"? Hmm.
