Okay, I knew this episode was coming, but still. If Fringe decides to turn into a semi-musical sci-fi noir AU with cellphones (in which Broyles sings and Peter wears really amazing waistcoats (with a watch chain!) and Olivia is a badass PI who flirts with not!Astrid) all the time, I am not going to complain in the least.

In fact, why isn't that show on my tv right now?

That was pretty much my reaction to Brown Betty, as well. Not that I don't love the show anyway, but could they make a spin-off that has more fedoras and Broyles playing the piano?
