(no subject)

Oh! Oh! One of our patrons has a new kitten and has brought it to the library and I made a pretty embarrassing high-pitched squeaky noise when he walked in. And I got to scritch the kitten under the chin and man, it is really hard not to club the owner over the head, steal the kitten, and run away.

I am not going to steal the kitten. That would be wrong and having a cat is currently impractical and stealing other people's kittens makes them sad. Stealing the kitten is not a good plan.

It's incredibly tempting though.

Stealing the kitten is a bad plan. There are plenty of adorables in the rescues or elsewhere that you can squeal over. Trust me, you'll find at least one when it becomes practical to have them.

I am guilty of making all sorts of stupid high-pitched noises when I see small cute animals that have been brought into work... ::cough:: Yes.
