Jun. 8th, 2010 03:17 pmSo, it has been cool lately. Not cold, but cool and breezy and wet, because I live in the Pacific Northwest and that is what we do. But people complain. People come into the library and talk about how it is May/June and why isn't it warm, I thought it was supposed to be warm, why isn't it summer yet? And I am not terribly supportive of that line of conversation in general because I dislike hot weather and all of my pretty clothes are cool-weather clothes and anyway, people whining about the weather are irritating.
Today, though, it is warm. The weather has decided it's June, so it's in the 70s and humid and at least partially sunny. And my coworkers and half the people who come into the library keep talking about how it's too hot and we need to turn on fans and my god, it's so muggy.
::headdesk:: This is what you wanted, people!
Alas, time to put my knee socks away for the season.

Date: 2010-06-09 01:32 am (UTC)You'd think that people who've lived here their whole lives would have an idea of what the weather's like here in early June.
