Half-finished crochet projects in my room:

- A Dracula doll. Should be finished in a few days.

- A pair of fingerless gloves with colorwork of the Yellow Sign. Making these is probably a bad idea, but I really like the way the Sign is working up. And I like making gloves.

- About 8 half-finished pairs of socks. Yes, that means I have eight random crocheted socks. I could just make them into four pairs, but somehow, I don't do that.

- The sweater I started last summer. It is beautiful and cranberry colored and full of cables. And somehow, I never want to work on it till summer, when there is no chance of wearing it and having it on my lap is way too hot.

- Katie's afghan. Lingering at half-finished. Someday, it really will be done. But not today.

- There are probably others, lingering in the depths of the yarn basket, neglected and forgotten.



And yet, what is my plan for today? Why, buying new yarn for a brand new project, of course.

Oh, my! I so envy crafty people! I'm useless, completely useless.
My granny used to crochet a lot, and I still have a lot of stuff she made for me. Dresses! Shawls! Hats! So, so beautiful...
She tried to teach me, but I don't really have the patience. *sigh*
And I would love to see your Dracula doll when it'll be finish. And the socks :D

The socks, alas, will probably linger unfinished till winter, when I have a chance of wearing them. I'm hoping to get Dracula done by the end of this week, so I can put him up in my etsy shop. 8)

He is going to be adorable. Or, at least, the one I made several months ago for myself is pretty adorable and the new one is going to strongly resemble mine.

Heheh. I used to do the same thing :D Then my hubby cracked down on the OMG YARN EVERYWHERE!!! and his point was valid. Now i try to keep a more reasonable list of in-the-middle-of projects. Well, yarn projects anyway. Scrapbooking is always To Be Continued..
