I am rereading/rewatching Nero Wolfe.

I love everybody. I love Wolfe because he is growly and pompous and agoraphobic and hospitable and a lover of beautiful things. I love Archie because he is cocky and a dorkface and the best kind of chivalrous and snarky and he loves to dance. I love that they love each other so. frelling. much. I love Fritz because he is adorable and Saul because he is amazing and Lily because she is kickass. I love Cramer because he is a good cop and never actually smokes his cigars and I love Stebbins because he snarks at Archie and I love hating Rowcliffe. I love the stupid clients and the awesome clients and I love Wolfe yelling at all of them. I love the brownstone and the orchids and the food. I love that Archie is 32 forever. (They're still there, of course. Still living in the brownstone, tending orchids, eating awesome dinners, solving mysteries. Of course they are.)

I love that I have books and audiobooks and television, and all of it is awesome.

And that is my fannish squee of this evening.

That is an awesome fannish squee. Considering the awesome of the source material, though, it's not hard to squee about them.

Very true.

They also get to be part of my "the library is awesome!" squee, as the only reason I started reading the books at all was that one of our patrons just would not stop talking about them one day and I figured that I might as well check them out. So that is totally cool as well. 8)

I came here from the big non-fandom friending meme, saw the name Nero Wolfe and said "SOLD!" :) Some of my favorite Old Time Radio shows to listen to are the Nero Wolfe stuff.

I haven't listened to any of the OTR Nero Wolfe stuff. I should, as I enjoy OTR in general. Do you have any specific recommendations?
