darchildreHave just learned from my coworker that she watched the first five minutes of the first episode of The Wire and didn't like it. And more, that she thought it wasn't any good. I am flabbergasted.
I mean, maybe I won't say that the opening of The Wire is the best opener of a tv show ever. I haven't seen the opener of every tv show ever, after all. But it is pretty damned awesome. And, okay, maybe you don't like cop shows or gritty (and amazingly well-written and -acted) drama. That's cool - to each their own. But I defy you to tell me that this isn't any good.
Admittedly, I am a little biased where The Wire is concerned. But seriously. How is that not awesome?
