Small Child: Are we allowed to check out things today?
Me: Sure. Why wouldn't you be able to?
Small Child: ::points at machine:: Well, it says the machine doesn't work.
Me: ...Yes, but I still work.
Small Child, the robot revolution has not yet come. Meat-based library workers are still allowed to do stuff, I promise.
