Here is the extent of my responsibilities as regards you printing things off the computer: I open up the print management program, locate your print jobs, take your money, and direct the computer to release the jobs so that they print. That's it. It is not my responsibility or indeed my problem when you print something that's three pages long but you only really needed the first page.
If you ask me to help you tell the computer to only print one page, I would be happy to try to figure that out for you. But you already told it to print. You already paid for the print job. By doing those things, you have accepted that these are the things you wanted to print.
I'm sorry that you paid money for a page you didn't need but, y'know, that's not actually my problem. Please do not complain at me about it.
