Dear everyone,
If you are reviewing a horror film and, in the course of your review, you use the phrase "Seventies gore-fest" to describe Halloween, I am going to have to take your opinion less seriously.
I mean, seriously. Have you seen Halloween? Sure, it's one of the first slasher films and it's violent (being a slasher film) but "gore-fest" it is not. Hell, there's a strangulation.
Please watch the movie you're making off-hand remarks about. It saves you looking stupid in front of people who actually did.
Dear little old lady Dune fan,
You are my favorite thing of today. Please feel free to come in here and rant about Brian Herbert any time you like.
Also, thank you for reminding me that I really liked The Dosadi Experiment and should reread that, as I have forgotten everything about it except that I liked it. (Possibly there were frog people? I'm sure I will find out!)
