darchildreToday was the beginning of our grand D&D adventure! (Well, okay, Saturday was really the beginning but there was more gaming today.) It went surprisingly well and everyone seemed to enjoy it, even my Dad. Which was indeed surprising. Also surprising - I do not completely suck as a DM! Hurrah!
It is entirely possible that I spent most of this evening planning bits of the next adventure. (There are going to be fish people. I am terribly excited about that. Also, I am possibly stealing things wholesale from Lovecraft stories. Because, y'know, fish people. Can't go wrong with vaguely Lovecraftian fish people, right?)
I am enjoying myself to a ridiculous degree with our little D&D game.
