Socializing - is it ever really worth it? We just don't know.
I was literally reading that post and thinking that I kind of miss socialising -- leaving the house for somewhere other than the office and talking to someone other than mum -- but also? The best thing about the pandemic was the sudden relief of not having to deal with everyone else's expectations that I should be socialising (or justifying why I rarely do). Not socialising is so very comfortable that I can't be bothered to put in the effort.
