Mar. 7th, 2021 11:22 amCleaning is the absolutely worst so I don't ever do it. Which is terrible. But that does mean, when I do manage to make myself clean, I get to be so surprised and pleased and excited about how nice things are.
I can find all my books! And my beanbag chair doesn't have stuff piled on top of it, so I can sit in it to knit! And many of my things are actually put away, instead of existing in precarious piles on the floor that fall over whenever I need to extract one of their components!
Anyway. I once found a word in a conlang dictionary (was is Láadan?) that had a word that meant something like "something that is a major accomplishment for the speaker, although it may not seem impressive to the listener". I've never been able to find that dictionary or that word again, but I need it whenever I actually manage cleaning.
