Summer Reading programs at the library are great and I love them in theory and in principle but I will admit that I do spend the end of August chanting "It's almost over, they're going back to school soon, you won't have to deal with any of this for nine months, it's almost over."

Just had a mom and all five of her children come in for their various summer reading prizes all at once and during the process, the tiniest child spit up on the floor and you guys, I am very done with children right now.

The flood of children at the beginning comes back at the end to collect prizes, and not more than I few times have I wondered where they were for all the programming.
