I'm glad you enjoyed the post! I really like dyeing my own yarn - I get use whatever colors I like, and using food coloring means I don't have to use anything that's not food-safe.
The pattern I'm using it for is a lot of fun but very slow going, as it's pretty complex. I've been knitting it for 4 days now and haven't gotten to the first color change yet! But I think it's going to turn out pretty cool. (I am ridiculous, because I already kinda want to make a second one, using different colors.)
