- I realize that this past weekend was a 3-day weekend, but it was still not long enough.
- So, yesterday, I basically did not thing but knit and watch Death Note, which I had not previously seen. (I have a project I'm really close to finishing and was at a bit that was going to take a while and be super irritating, so I decided to just devote a day to it and get it over with. I am less distractible if the tv is on while I knit.) My coworker was talking about it the other day, as she's possibly showing it at a library anime program, and I figured, hell, I'll try it out. And now I have watched, like the first 10 episode of Death Note in a day. Turns out, I have a basically endless capacity for watching some Elias Bouchard-style bastard be ridiculously evil and out-clever everyone around him. No one is surprised by this revelation.
- Also, I am never knitting anything with large areas of seed stitch again. Seed stitch looks nice and feels nice but is my absolute least favorite thing to knit, I hate it so much.
- After two weeks of temperatures consistently in the 50's, we have plunged back down to 30 degrees and light snow today. I am not at all ready for winter to be over and am so pleased to have cold weather back for a while.
