Dec. 29th, 2018 08:21 amToday, I am going to go play D&D with my sister and her husband and some of their friends whom I met once during their wedding. Which on the one hand is terrifying because New People, Oh No. But, on the other hand, D&D! With actual dice instead of on Roll20! I have a cool new character* that I love and am excited about!
But also New People, Oh No.
Also, I don't have to be there till 1, which means that I have all morning to be nervous, which is the worst.
Loving tabletop roleplaying games but being afraid of people is a bad combination, you guys.
*He's...basically, I was reading a Black Company novel while making a D&D character one time and ending up just filing the serial numbers off Croaker and twisting him a little bit to make him fit the setting. Which will be nice, because it means I already know how this character reacts to stuff: I get a choice between a) freak out and try to run away, b) RESEARCH!, or c) make bad quips and write RPF. Oh, Croaker.
