So.  Tonight, I am reading pre-DCnU Batman comics and, every once in a while, someone uses the word "gunsel".

And, you guys, I am more than aware that usage of that word has changed since/because Dash Hammett managed to put one over on the editor of Black Mask, but I seriously giggle every time it comes up.

Maybe it is time to reread Maltese Falcon.
