(no subject)

It is raining like crazycakes outside and I do not understand why I have to go outside in it and cannot, instead, stay home and watch soap opera vampires and knit things.

(Along with the new sweater (which is great), Mom and I are doing a little garter stitch blanket knitalong together. You just get yarn in a variety of colors, decide how wide you want it to be, and knit garter stitch till you run out of that color. Then you join another. It's very soothing. Mine is a rainbow, in proper ROYGBIV order and everything, because I am like that. Or will be - I'm still knitting the red stripe.)

I'm just saying, today is being a really good excuse for a cozy day.
