It is Monday, and I am having a somewhat grumpy day, brought on by the fact that I keep getting bad news from all corners.
Remember my aunt who just had surgery and my grandmother who went to Alabama to help her out and then fractured a vertebra? Well, one of my other aunts went down there to help the two of them out and promptly came down with strep throat. It is a cursed place.
And then, when I walked into work, the first thing my coworker did was start regaling me with everything weird and troubling that happened at the library this weekend, and at the community meeting about the new library building. It went on for at least ten minutes and I didn't even get a "hello, how are you?" before it started. Apparently, at the library today, everything is terrible forever.
So could you maybe tell me about some happy things? Or link me to happy pictures? I could really use a pick-me-up.
