So, I kinda want to buy myself a new saga to read and I cannot decide which one to get. Thus, I am asking the internet which one it would choose.
I have at this point narrowed it down to two options:
Eyrbyggja Saga, which apparently deals with the conversion of Iceland plus ghosts and is described by one reviewer as "the Amityville Horror of medieval literature".
Or!
The Saga of the Jomsvikings, which appears to be full of badass fearless warrior vikings doing badass fearless warrior viking things.
Both of them look nifty but I am limiting myself to buying only one right now. (The other one will probably be bought and read at some point, but not today.) So which one would you choose?
