Aug. 5th, 2012 08:11 amSo, yesterday I got up at 2:30 and went to the airport with my grandmother, flew to Atlanta with her, waited around the airport for several hours while knitting and reading various things*, and then flew back. I got home and into bed sometime between 11:30 and 12.
Today, I am tired.
Thus, today, the plan is to drink so much tea (there was no tea yesterday) and knit while watching tv that's entertaining but which I don't particularly care about. So, probably, Law and Order on Netflix.
(You'd think I could just go back to bed but no. Apparently not.)
*Way back when I first started reading Marvel comics fanfic, I read the Resurrection-verse by elspethdixon and seanchai, because I had read some of their other fic and really liked it. Note that this was before I started reading any actual, y'know, Marvel comics. It was available and it was long and plotty and I was so very confused by just about everything that was happening, but I read it anyway. Because that is what happens when I decide that I can learn about a comicbook fandom from reading the fic. And I put it on my kindle the other day because it was long and plotty and available and I was going to be in an airport for several hours.
That story makes so much more sense now that I actually know a) who these people are and b) at least some of the context. Wow.
