- Last night was movie night at Bainbridge, and we watched Harvey. Do you ever have that moment, where you realize that you're the only person in the room who knows what a pooka is and you think to yourself, "Wait, who doesn't know that - oh, wait. No, I'm the freak."? Yeah. That happened.
- It is May 10th and we have reached the part of the year where everyone talks to me about how beautiful the weather is and how glad they are that it's warm and bright and I kinda want to die. I mean, I'm glad that everyone else enjoys it but I don't like warm and bright makes me low-level miserable. And now my bedroom window faces east. It is a little bit terrible.
- On the plus side, today I realized that all of Andrew Lang's fairy tale books are on Project Gutenberg. Oh man, I am going to read all of them.
- Which is probably good, because I don't think I've read anything that wasn't fanfic for the past two weeks or so. Which I have thoroughly enjoyed but after 5 or so conversations about what you're reading on your kindle that you have to explain to people, you start to wish that maybe you were reading something else when they asked. I could lie, I guess, but people asking me what I'm reading always comes as a surprise and I'm not good at lying when surprised.
- Maybe it will rain tomorrow. Probably not, though.
