(no subject)

Okay, now it is morning and I no longer feel as miserable. I have emailed Dell (not called, since they wanted to charge me money for that) and I have a plan. The plan is:

- If they email back and say they can send me a copy of my OS, awesome. I will possess myself in patience.

- If they email back and say no, I will take myself to Best Buy after work and just buy a copy of Windows 7. Not ideal, but workable.

I am still grumpy about things, but at least there is a plan.

I am watching Doctor X, with Lionel Atwill and Fay Wray. About which three things:

1) Two-strip Technicolor is really very pretty.

2) Wow, there is a lot of cannibalism in this movie for a film from the 30's.

3) When I get my TARDIS and use it to watch horror films when they premiered, I'm going to make a special point of watching this and certain other films in order to determine if people actually found the obnoxious wisecracking reporter characters to be funny when the films came out. Notions of humor change after all. Just because it seems inconceivable today doesn't mean it can't be true.
