- So, the library computers were down from Friday morning till late in the day yesterday. Which means that nothing got checked in since Thursday. There were immense amounts of carts and boxes full of backlog but you know what? We are totally awesome at the Kingston branch and so we have gotten everything checked in. Go us! (Admittedly, we are the smallest branch in the system and so had proportionally less than other branches. We are still frelling awesome.)
- I put a bunch (well, three) of horror scholarship books on ILL. I'm always excited when I see those on my account, even if it's going to be weeks before I get them.
- Tomorrow is my birthday!
- Did you know that this week is Boris Karloff Blogathon Week? Neither did I, until![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
eldritchhobbit pointed it out this morning. I think that this evening I will go home and watch Corridors of Blood, which has been sitting on my floor since I got it from the library a week ago. I believe that it has body snatchers* and mid-1800's surgery. And, y'know, Mr Karloff. And Christopher Lee. What more could anyone want?
*Why do I not own The Body Snatcher? I really should remedy that... In fact, unless you count Re-Animator**, I don't own any movies about body snatchers. Considering my continuing affection for resurrection men, that's actually somewhat surprising. Huh.
In related news, I am totally excited about that upcoming Burke and Hare movie with David Tennant and Simon Pegg.
**And Frankenstein et al, which I forgot to include because I'm an idiot.
