Mar. 15th, 2015 10:50 amThings accomplished of late:
- I gave a brief presentation on downloadable library materials and the devices used for accessing them at our last staff meeting, and it went very well. Because I am knowledgeable! Hooray!
- I have been knitting washcloths. So many washcloths. Because I like having washcloths and Sugar&Cream comes in millions of colors and is cheap. Plus, they only take a day or two to finish. I've knit six in the last week or so, have started on the seventh, and have two more balls of yarn. I suppose this is somewhat excessive, but you can't really have too many washcloths, right? And it's less of a problem than my tendency to want to knit all the blankets, because I actually finish the washcloths.
- Last year, I bought two packets of radish seeds that I never planted. Yesterday, I bought three more packets. (I really like radishes, you guys.) And today, I actually bought a planter for them and soil and have planted some radishes! It's a nice big window box planter that I've divided into quarters so I can do succession gardening - I've only planted a quarter so far, but I'll do the next quarter next week and so on. That way, in about a month, I'll have a month's worth of radishes! Yay!
