Today I learned that the photocopier at our library will not photocopy money.

Sadly, I did not learn why the patron wanted to photocopy money, because it was closing time and thus was much more important to just get him to stop trying and leave.

Yep. Those electronic devices these days are programmed to recognize currency and refuse to copy them.

But yes, it would be interesting to ask why. (The are actually rules about images of currency, forserious.)
