Just had a lady ask me what "lowercase" means.

(The passwords that go with your library card are case-sensitive so I always ask if lowercase letters are okay when I set them for people.)

Lady looks to be fifty-some years old. How do you get to be fifty without learning what lowercase letters are?

They probably have learned capital and small letters as their thing. (I personally like majuscule and minuscule, myself.)
