(no subject)

Today, I was woken at 3 am by a dream about my dad being repeatedly bitten by a diamondback rattlesnake. I have no idea what that was about, but at 3 am and with him leaving before I woke up for a business trip, it made me oddly uneasy and unable to sleep.

Now I am very tired and I do not want to be at work.

Tell me about happy things? Happy things that do not involve rattlesnakes, for preference.

Every day when i get home and my cat Lotus Blossom hears that it's me (perhaps i say something, or rattle my keys or something.. but only when she knows that it's *me*) she'll come a'running from where ever she was napping to say hi to me. Often, her voice isn't even awake yet, but it's THAT important to say hi that she's all "MEeweerRrWR?!" then looks confused at herself, then tries again with a more forceful "MEWRWERERR!" It amuses me and is terribly cute :D

Other cute things.. uh.. my hubs has a mohawk (which is awesome in and of itself) and occasionally i get to do stuff to it - right now it is an awesome mohawk of little tiny braids :D Iz so cute! The front one likes to try and live in his eyeball, which is slightly less cute, but amusing :D

aaand lessee.. i get to have cute date night with lij(the hubs) tonight wherein we will watch the last Ice Road Truckers - Deadlies Roads (OMG DON'T FALL OFF THE EDGE!!) while nomming delicious chinese food and snuggling (while Lotus Blossom cries outside the door coz *she* wants cuddles with mommy too, dammit!!!) heh.

Fuzzy little kittens playing with yarn is pretty adorable, though, as are little fuzz puppies running after a tennis ball that's about as big as they are. ::hugs::
