I am having the kind of day where I mostly want to punch people. Thus, I am coping by poking at Netflix and looking for horror movies.

Friends, tell me some horror movies I should watch. Right now, I am looking for something at least a little gory.* Body horror would be a plus but isn't required.

Any recommendations?

*Caveats: I would prefer something with supernatural/unnatural elements, as I often find horror movies with purely human villains to be unpleasant in ways I don't want. Also, I'd like to keep sexual violence to a minimum, though I realize that's often an unrealistic goal in this genre.

28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. Not so much horror but has some gore and definitely violence - Silent Hill.

I always recommend sequels and thirds and fourths and what have yous with originals when I recommend movies.

May I ask - what did you not like about 28 Weeks Later? I'm curious to see if it matches up with what I don't like about it.

Recently caught a film (loose interpretation) called Botched on late night cable. Very gory, also humorous, in a bad accent stereotype kinda way. Not really about the supernatural though, so might not be quite on target but figured I'd add my 2 cents anyway.
