Sanctuary definitely gets much better. I mean, it never becomes, like, BRILLIANT TELEVISION ART (starting with the finale of s1, I'd rate it as consistently equal to the best of SG1/SGA, if you watched either) but it hits its stride and I love it. If you've already watched the frozen paranoia one, you've only got a few more truly bad episodes, and they're scattered among the increasingly good ones.
And then season two and AWWWW YEAH. And in season 3, boring protagonist guy finally starts to get somewhat less boring!
