Apparently, I am not quite as experienced at discerning between different types of nausea as I thought I was because I cannot tell whether the nausea I am currently experiencing is the "I hit my hand really hard against the cabinet and it hurts enough to make me feel sick" kind of nausea or the "I ate pumpkin pie and homemade ice cream and now I feel ill" kind of nausea. It's not my normal due-to-food nausea, you see, and that's throwing me off somewhat.

Needless to say, all types of nausea are unpleasant.
